About Me

I'm Fermin Perdomo, a Senior Software Developer with over 10 years of experience building web applications across the full stack. I've shipped production software for clients like The New York Times, Wirecutter, Soul Cycle, and Pinger — working through agencies like Intellisys and Truelogic on everything from high-traffic editorial platforms to real-time communication tools.

My core stack is PHP and Laravel on the backend, with solid experience in Node.js, React, Next.js, and a range of databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis. I've architected multi-tenant SaaS systems, migrated legacy stacks to modern frameworks, built REST and GraphQL APIs, and integrated third-party services like Twilio, Firebase, Contentful, and Drupal. I also maintain a set of open-source Laravel packages — including Reactify, Flagship, and Laravel Model Export — published under the PHP Dominicana organization on GitHub.

Outside of work I train as a natural bodybuilder and build fitness-related side projects, applying the same discipline I bring to engineering to everything I do.
